Birthday Dinner

So Sunday I got to celebrate my birthday a little early with my cute family. Ashley had us all over to her beautiful home, & my cute momma made me my favorite! Roast, potatoes, & carrots, with strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was delicious! The roast was so "moisturized" as Livy put it! It was so fun to hang out & spend time with the fam. Poor Zach was sick, but cute Tessie still came & brought our sweet Kota. Houston was a little ham as always. He is so smart! What a great way to celebrate! I love my birthdays & each year just gets better. I am so grateful for my wonderful family. I am so blessed to have them all in my life. Here's to hoping my birthday wish comes true!...

I took Liv's picture in the same spots as last year & I can't believe how much she's grown in one year! I love her so much & was so excited we got to take her to her first day of school & meet her teacher. She's the best kid ever! Hope this year's another great one!

Summer Fun

So we went to Lava Hot Springs a few times this summer. We were able to take Matti, Liv's friend. We found a cool bed & breakfast to stay at with all sorts of animals, which the girls loved. My allergies, not so much. Me & the girls ended up sleeping in the car! We had tons of fun swimming, going to the hot pools, tubing the river, & me n Liv went off the 33 foot platform!

New babies!

Bobby's sisters both have new baby girls! Mandie & Brandon's family have Kaylee Rose Platt, & Angie's family got a little Lainey Lucille Jones. We were able to go visit both families, take some dinner, & snuggle those babies. So fun! Liv looks like she will be a wonderful big sister!

August, my favorite month!

So my amazing sisters have inspired me to start a blog to journal my life with Laroses. I love reading theirs, enjoying all the pictures, & catching little details I might not hear about at our busy family dinners. Hopefully I will get the hang of it quickly because anyone who knows me knows I love photos, organizing, & enjoying the fruits of my labor :)

August is a wonderful month, and not just because it is my birthday! It's the downhill slope of summer so you appreciate it more because it will be over soon; it's my sweet boy Dakota's birthday; back to school time for Livy; & I get to celebrate another year of my life that I am so grateful for.

Summer was extra fun this year because Dakota, Zach, & Tessie have been able to come out to family dinners again, so we feel a little more complete. I'm including some pics of our fun family dinners...My own little family has been through a rough year, but we are all back on track & loving life together. We've been able to take a few little vacays, enjoyed some pool time, & just be together in the outside air, enjoying our backyard that my wonderful family has helped so much with. Home is my favorite place to be.
