My beautiful little man. 16 months. You get smarter everyday. And more handsome! I love you so much. You make every day better for me.
A lot of these pictures are repeats from the last post (October fun), but I figure I'd be more apt to look at this post later on so I included them anyways :)
1. Tater is in 2T clothes, wears a size 5 shoe pretty snug-ly, & we tried size 5 diapers due to leakage issues, but it didn't seem to help, so we are in size 4's still.
2. He is saying so many words! He won't always repeat them, but he has said SHOES, SISSY, LIGHT, CHEESE, SOCK, PLEASE, MAMA, HOUSTON (HOUSTY), TIGGER, BOBBY, BABY, DOG, BALL, & OF COURSE DAD, & DADDA. He still doesn't like to say mama. I've been waiting so patiently!
3. He can do "knuckles" now.
4. We had a playdate with Bennett across the street. We've gone for walks & played in the sandbox, it's just hard to align playdates with naptimes. Tate was SO cute though. He was fascinated with another little person just like him. He was so excited & all smiles. He shared so good. Bennett kind of ran the show because he's a little older, but Tate loved it. It made me happy to see him so happy.
5. He is getting used to Houston & Mae always loving on him. He really seems to like it now. He smiles & plays good with them too. It's very sweet.
6. He has been wearing his big boy shoes & loves to walk everywhere by himself. He & I had a picnic in the yard one day because it was such beautiful weather. He had so much fun just being outside running around on the grass. He seemed so proud of himself. So cute :)
7. My neighbor gave him an old puzzle she was going to get rid of. It's a wooden Melissa & Doug one, he can't put it together, but he likes to think he can. He's quite obsessed with it.
8. He loves pushing things from one end of the room to the next, i.e.- his 4 wheeler, his activity table, his chair, laundry baskets, pretty much anything.
9. He likes wearing his little moccasin slippers around the house like Dad. When they fall off he brings them to you & wants you to put them back on :)
10. When you say, "Tater, wanna go to the store, or walk, or go get sissy, or anything really" he says "YEAH!" so whole-heartedly with his fists together in the air. It is the cutest!
11. He can throw a MAJOR fit these days.
12. We went to see Dr. Nye. He weighs 24 lbs. 15 oz., he is in the 90th percentile for height, 70th for weight, & 70th for head size. He's getting so tall!
13. He sits very reverently with Mommy at church.
14. He will clean up pretty good when I sing the song & help him.
15. He says "Meemeemeemee" for "more." I thought he was saying "mommy." No luck :(
His 4 wheeler he loves now. He loves to push it more than ride it :)
