Lola is 8 months old

Miss Lola Lyn is 8 months old.

She has gotten her first tooth this month.

She just mastered sitting up (we think because she's pretty tall it threw off her center of gravity? Idk)

She has started crawling forwards! (been scooting backwards for awhile)

She looooves baby food. She usually eats 2 jars of it at each sitting. There doesn't seem to be a flavor she doesn't like. I mix it with oatmeal cereal for her & she devours it.

She loves her brother even though he is not extremely nice to her sometimes. He absolutely adores her most of the time though ;)

She is the most beautiful little baby girl in the world. I love her sooooo much!

She wears a size 3 diaper, is growing out of her 9 month clothes. I am a little slow getting the 12 months out. Our dryer broke (with a little help, no names mentioned ;))

She seems to love Curious George. (Tate's favorite. We watch it before naptime & bedtime)

She got her first real cold. I'm sure it was RSV. Thankfully Grammy came to the rescue with a suction machine from good 'ol Katy Lythgoe Morgan.

At her most recent doctor visit she weighed 19 lbs 12.5 oz. (82nd percentile)

She is 28.5 inches long  (92nd percentile)

head circumference 17.75 inches (89th percentile)

When we're sitting on the couch she loves to stand on Mommy's collarbone to look in the mirror behind me. Does that make sense? I've been up all night at work ;)

She loves to be big. Standing up. Playing with brother's sippy cup. She is such a cutie.

Most of all she is one of my greatest blessings. I am so grateful she is my baby. She is so beautiful inside & out. 

 I've been at work for 2 days & can't wait to get home & see her!

Tate loves to climb on everything now

Speaking of climbing....Tate can climb out of his bed now! He would wake me up by pounding on the door. He has now learned to open his door....and wakes me up by flipping on the bright lights. Uggh

Finally got Lo's 6 month pics done. Now that she's almost 8 months ;)

I took Tater to the circus for his first time! It was so fun! He wasn't sure about it at first & wanted to leave after 20 minutes. Fortunately a little popcorn & a snowcone (yes I splurged) perked him right up. Then he didn't want to leave!

BEAR LAKE

My parents planned a trip to Bear Lake. It was so much fun!!! The house they rented was SO cool! They didn't say a word about the house, so it was such a surprise to see all the amenities it had! The drive in was gorgeous. I forgot how beautiful the lake was. The color was such a gorgeous royal blue. The deck of the house had the most amazing view! I could have sat out there all day. Thanks Mom & Dad (& Nannie) for making it happen. My mom put so much time & energy into planning meals, & so many fun things to do. She made it truly special. It truly was a slice of heaven to get to spend the weekend in such a beautiful place with my loved ones. I wonder if that is what Heaven will be like? Surrounded by those you love, with few worries, enjoying views of gorgeous scenery & just having fun.

I hope so!

My mom is too fun! She brought the pool so we could put the babies in there with toys & they could play in a safe place. They are all starting to be on the go!

Tubing! Tater LOVED it! He is normally not to brave, but he totally loved it! This trip was so good for him!

Yes, the house had an indoor gym!!!

It also had a slide down the whole middle of the house. Towards the end of the weekend Tate actually wanted to go down it. It was kind of dark inside so I think it scared him.

My cute lil man. This was on our movie night in the theater!! We watched Little Mermaid (my personal fave Disney). He was so cute! He kept counting the stairs to work on his numbers, & sang the ABC's a million times while we were up there. It was too cute. He learns so much so quick. Everyday he does or says new stuff. What happened to my little baby??? He is a big boy now. 

He also slept in the big bed with Mommy. He has never really done that so it was actually quite fun. Every night, "Mommy. Mommy." He'd crawl over me & look right in my eyes. He would pull my eye mask off. He would say "Mo song," & "Tickle my back."

He is really the cutest thing I've ever seen. I love him so much.
