What's new with Tate....
1. He has found his hands AND his mouth. He is always trying to stick his whole fist in his mouth, he rubs the edge of his blankets, & puts those to his mouth too. It is so cute :)
2. He smiles a ton when he is getting his diaper changed, & especially when he is breastfeeding. He will always turn & look at me & give me a flirty smile. I swear he is playing peek-a-boo because he will do it over & over.
3. He sits on my lap & enjoys books alot more. He mostly hits them with those swingin arms, but he is atleast more interested.
4. He is breastfeeding better. We still have our days, but he is doing tons better!
5. He still doesn't have a schedule. Although, he goes to sleep after we feed him about 5 1/2 oz in a bottle around midnight (give or take a half hour...sometimes TWO hours later :)) & he goes about 5 1/2 to 6 hours. Awesome! During the day he seems to go about 3- 3 1/2 hrs between feeds.
6. I don't think he is allergic to HoneyBun! Yay!
7. He gets more alert all the time. He knows his name & listens intently when you talk to him. He stares at everything so thoughtfully too. I could just stare at HIM all day. He is so dreamy...
8. He talks all the time. I absolutely love it. Its a cross between a sweet coo & a sad little story, almost a little whiney, but it is so sweet. His voice sounds simply angelic. He looks you in the eye & appears to be deep in conversation with you & he thinks you totally get what he is saying. I could listen to it all day.
9. He sings with you. Especially with Bobby. It is really cute.
10. He is getting better at tummy time. Still hates it, but getting better!
11. He loves to do sit-ups. In fact, he gets mad if you stop. He is so big. He always wants to sit up like a big boy. There's a picture below :)
12. He loooves his bath even more. He splashes & splashes with his chunky legs & swings his arms. It is his favorite time of day. It is so so fun to watch!
13. His top accomplishment this month is soothing himself to sleep better. It just naturally came with time, plus a little patience from mom & dad. Sometimes we sit next to the cradle & hold a bink in his mouth, or hold those ever-moving hands, but it is fairly quick, comparatively :) (fingers crossed! I always seem to jinx myself).
