Canoeing in Mantua

My parents are seriously the funnest. They rented canoes from the base, my dad built an attachment to Zach's trailer for the canoes, found a day that worked for everyone, packed each family snacks, & then took us out for pizza. It is tons of work to coordinate that many people, & have it all go smoothly! It was SO fun! It did rain on us a little, but the Friedli's love the rain, & I think it made it even more fun because we were all hustling to paddle to shore, were all soggy, it was just a great time! We did miss Tessie though. She had the opportunity to go to Colorado & celebrate one of her besties 30th bday. Fun fun! Liv was also gone. It was her stepdad's bday so she went to celebrate with them. Linds & Ry made it as we got to shore, but then came to dinner. I love my fam so much & everytime we get together it is a blast. They always uplift my spirit.

This is where Tater sat most of the time, at the head of the boat squeezed between Mommy's legs while she was paddling.
He loved it! He pointed at everything-clouds, ducks, the water.
It was seriously the funnest!

Cabo San Lucas-3rd Anniversary

We went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for our 3rd anniversary. It was beautiful! We stayed at the Riu Palace. It was gorgeous, the service was exceptional, the view amazing,  & the food was delicious (even though I got food poisoning the last night!). It was some questionable prime rib, I NEVER eat even slightly raw meat, & this was pushing it. Never again :)

Anyways, it was a great time. It was my first time leaving Tater, & he did great! He stayed with my parents for 3 days, then Bobby's parents for the last 3. I did pretty good. I missed him terribly, & was pretty anxious the whole time, but I did okay. It helps that we had free Wi-Fi, so I could call & text my mom & she n Sandi emailed me pictures everyday too :)

 

 



You can barely see Bobby in the corner, but this was our spot most of the most of the time. It was an infinity pool & the view from where he is sitting is the view of the ocean & Lover's beach in front of us (the first picture on the blog is the view). It was awesome! The pool was the perfect temperature, not too cold, but not hot. PERFECT.

We got a free shuttle to & from the airport, swimming with dolphins (amazing!!!), & a glass bottom boat ride (Bobby didn't want to go :( I had been with my family before though, it was cool) all this was free for listening to a dumb timeshare thing. It was worth it (they fed us during the presentation too, always a bonus for me :))
