15 months

My Tater Salad is 15 months! He still changes so much every month, week, daily. He is so smart. It's amazing what that sponge-y lil brain soaks up. I love to sit & watch his little wheels turn in his head when he's figuring things out.

Look at this cute little bum! He stiiiill loves the bath. He tries to climb in by himself!

This is his "I don't know" pose. It's so cute.

Saddest face in the world. All because Mom wouldn't let him throw his bottle on the floor.

Apologies. I canNOT figure out the stupid picture placement & captions, etc. So sorry it all looks crappy! I'm trying :)

Nightly photo to send to Daddy at work. I try to do it for him because I make him send me one everytime I'm at work. I miss my boy!

In his new big boy sweats. So handsome!

At Grammy & Poppy's enjoying all their festive decorations. He also loves the Grim Reaper dancers

He loves his little flute we brought him back from Mexico

Laundry basket ride from Daddy

Playing at the park with Mommy. I love this little sequence of pics on the slide. He isn't too sure about it, then ends up clapping at the end. He loved it :) We did it SEVeral times after. It was the funnest day!

1. He gives "high-fives" & we are working on "knuckles." He mostly just fives your fist :)

2. He is obsessed with the book "Goodnight Moon." My sweet neighbor gave us all these books & her 1975 copy from when she was little was in there! Special. I had never read it, but have always heard the hype about it. It's really not that amazing, but he loves it. We have to read it 2 or 3 times before bed & now he wants nothing to do with "Sleepy Baby." :( I like that one too!

3. He constantly wants to kiss HoneyBun. She is NOT a fan.

4. He makes the sweetest smoochy sound when he goes to kiss you & puckers up his lips so cute. I love it!

5. He likes to collect leaves on our daily walks in the little red car.

6. He can say "Dog" & loves to see them & pet the neighborhood doggies on our walks. They are all much nicer than our dog at home ;)

7. He will show you his belly button. Daddy also taught him how to wash his own belly & his peeper. Kinda weird, but it's still cute :)

8. He likes you to kiss all his animals in his crib when you get him up in the morning, & sometimes before bed. We kiss his beloved Curious George monkey, turtle, little Boo-boo bear from Grammy & Poppy, his monkey blankie rattle, his little bear blankie rattle with the tags he loves (he completely frayed monkey), & then his little minky blanky. And then he wants you to do it all again :) It is so sweet!

9. He is walking in big boy shoes! It is so cute! He had more shoes as a newborn & then I figured out babies don't wear shoes :) I got him some little moccassin slippers that are adorable, I'll have to post a pic.

10. He LOVES Tigger now! He was terrified of him before, then kinda liked him, & now he loves him.

11. He wears 2T clothes, size 4 diapers, & size 5 shoes.

12. He is the cutest & sweetest boy in the world. Love you lil man!!!

Olivia-8th grade

Okay, let's see what is new with Liv this year.... She made cheer captain! SO proud of her! She is an excellent leader, she is so responsible making sure people remember practice & have rides....They just got their pom poms, I'll hafta get a pic of them. They're really cute. Tate & I helped "fluff" them out with her....Liv made up a new dance to "Hey Mickey!" for cheer clinics. They have 4 girls & 2 boys, but decided to open up tryouts again. Now there are 10 girls. Liv worked SO hard that week, going to practice in the morning, sometimes having to run in P.E., dancing & cheering all through the cheer clinics to teach the girls, & then staying at the end of the week for tryouts. She is very dedicated! She always gets up on time, never misses a practice, & is a good example to the other girls. Way to go Livers!

She also has weekly grade checks for cheer. She not only has straight A's at midterm, but 100.7% average! Awesome huh!

Dad & Tater thrilled to pose for a picture ;)

He loooves his sissy!

Tessie & Dakota joined us. My mom, Ashley & her kids had made it to a previous game. This was our first though! It was fun to watch, even though it was POURing rain halfway through it! Tessie & Kota were troopers! Mound Fort sort of got killed by Box Elder, but it was fun anyways.

Tater with his first sucker
(that Mom knew about anyways. Dad said he had one at the Homecoming game they went to see Aubree & Logan in)

Football game against Mt. Ogden. They were ahead most of the time & then ended up losing at the end. Good game though! Once again POURing rain! I was better prepared this time though. So was Liv with a jacket (thanks to a naggy mom ;))
Bobby stopped by this game too before work again, it was postponed though due to lightning. I took Liv & Breeanna to Warren's & we got delicious burgers, fries, & the girls got ice cream. My PMS was very pleased :)

Tater all bundled up watching Sissy cheer

My cute Bunny enjoying some snuggle time with Mom

Grammy hosted a beach party picnic with all Becky's girls & their kids. It was so cute. She puts so much work & effort into everything...I was bummed, I had to miss a lot of it because I had a hair appt  :(

Livers stayed & helped with Tater though. Good sissy

My Tater Salad
Wow. So much changes each day with this kid. It's amazing. I was staring at him sleeping in his crib with his legs hanging out the side, & remembering the day we brought him home & put him in his crib. He was so tiny laying right in the middle. I can't believe he's a little boy now. He will always be my baby though :)
Here's what's new with Tater.
1. He has started wearing shoes :) This is a pic where I put him in the cute lil crocs my mom had bought him when he was brand new. They finally fit! He was NOT a fan though. He kept trying to kick them off like. "WHAT are these Gigantic things on my feet making it sooo much more difficult to walk!?" He is getting used to them though, & I even found some cute pimpin lil Hugh Hefner slipper/moccasins to get him more used to wearing things on his feet. I also got him these Rubberoos socks from Walmart. They just have skid-proof padding on them. He likes the sound they make hitting my parents wood floor & tile :)

2. He wears a size 5 shoe. 18 month clothes & we are starting to pull out the 2T's. For sure in jammies. They are so funny, they are all skin-tight capri leggings & midriffs. I love it!

3. He gives kisses. Sometimes very willingly, & sometimes, such as in this photo, he won't give it up.

4. Looooves the shoe basket. He gets all the shoes out all the time. I may have to get rid of this soon because he always tries to bite the flip flops. It makes me want to puke!

5. This was a night of diaper dancing. Very cute. He would hold onto the table or his highchair leg & pole dance. Hysterical. I'll try to post a vid of this later.

6. I always call him my "silly hamburger boy" because he is MORE than a little ham. He is a hamBURGER. Here he is eating. I've had to resort to making a chomping sound & making a horse face to get him to eat when he's in a difficult mood. Oddly, it works some of the time.

7. He loves to eat with a fork & spoon. He can spoon the yogurt & eat it pretty well by himself. It makes a mess, but he can get it done :)

8. Some of his fave foods are, well what I TRY to feed him is: we start off with a veggie (beans, peas), then go to bread or cheerios, then string cheese (sometimes wrapped in a high-fiber tortilla), then yogurt, then a fruit other than grapes. If I attempt to follow this order he will usually ingest a form of the food pyramid :)
If you let him see a grape before that order though, you're done for! We've taken a hiatus (sp?) from mandarin oranges because of a rash situation.
He's really started getting a bit more difficult to feed, but it's not terrible. I just try the best I can :)

9. Look at this cutest bedhead! He took such a good nap that he had sleep marks on the side of his face & major bedhead. It was so cute! He woke up a happy boy too.
Amazing what a nap can do huh? Wish I knew these days ;)
He's skipped a few naps for ME (not Bobby of course), or takes only a 40-45 minute one. Unless of course I am on a time schedule & need to be somewhere :)

10. Look how cute this is! His hand is even stuck in his diaper! He's been going through a little phase where he ends up asleep in crazy positions. The night after this he fell asleep sitting up propped in the corner of his crib.

Look at these PERFECTLY chubby feet & legs.
Perfect :)

10. He loves to be silly. Me, him, n sissy were runnin errands, & he was bein a silly hamburger :)

Examining our purchases & letting the rash air out after errands

11. He is SO smart! He has learned to take these off & put them back on. Clever boy. He will also put the shapes in his little IKEA house my parents got him. He will also stack blocks all facing the same way. OCD on the horizon???

12. My favorite new talent of Mr. Salad! He blows kisses! It is the sweetest thing ever :)
