Christmas

First of all, I hate not understanding how stupid blogging works!!!! I'm pretty sure my account is possessed.
I cannot make sense at all of how they adjust the pictures! I press one button, & it does 5 different things that I did noooooot want it to do! I have tried fixing this 5 different times, it is 3 in the morning & I give up

On a happier note,
Above (& oddly placed) are some of my favorite photos of the season.
Below are the festivities of Christmas Day.
This year was extra special to me. Tate understood more of the happenings of Christmas, it was Lola's first, & Liv was so sweet & grateful for all of her gifts.
Most of all my ever-growing testimony makes me appreciate the Savior even more this year;
His birth, his life, & the Atonement.
Being a mother I think of how his earthly, & heavenly parents must have felt during his life.
At the special time of his birth, watching him grow up, & watching him suffer on the cross.
I cannot fathom how they must have felt, but having my own children sparks a small inkling of how they might have.
I am so grateful for my own parents, & for the Savior.
He truly is the "GIFT."

Rest of December

My Tate

I have so many pics of my kids & everything we do. It is a little hard to keep up & organize them all on my computer, put pics on the blog, make each child a scrapbook, but I can't stop! I want to remember every precious little memory about them. Now that Tate is almost 2 1/2, I thought maybe I will just do quarterly updates & post photos of just him. He still does soooo many new things all the time, & I want to document them so I can remember it all perfectly!
I've made little notes by most of the pics & why I put them in here.

I love my kids more than anything in my life. They are the best things I've done with my life, & they make me want to be the best person I can be (stiiiill workin on it!;))

Each night after he's asleep I tuck him in again & I just stare at his beautiful little face. He still looks the same as he did when he was a little baby. Beautiful eyes.
I love him!

He loves his Poppy & loves to be big & do things himself

He loves to laugh & is so fun & silly!

His dad decided to cut his hair straight across, & thankfully he stopped there!
Look at this!!!

Thankfully Mommy fixed it (mostly;))
This was the first time he held so still & let me cut his hair without freaking out.
What a good boy!
I just sat him on the floor of the shower to watch a movie on my tablet, we cut his hair, vacuumed it all up, & put him in the tubby!
Smooth sailing!

Oh that face!

He is obsessed with Lola's playmat & thinks it is his own personal jungle gym :)

My handsome lil church date

All decked out for church again. Grammy made him a church bag for his birthday & it has soooo many fun (& quiet!) things to do. He really sits so good during sacrament. It makes me so proud of him.
We did have a week or two where I about walked out in tears though! Keeping two little ones quiet by myself is quite the challenge!

He loves his lil sissy in his bed with him. It's a sure-fire way to make him wake up happy. I just lay her down next to him & he loves it.
Cuties

He loves to help Mommy clean.
Cleaning with washcloths & mopping.
He does NOT like the new vacuum though. "Loud," he says all nervously

"Mmm, good," he says now

He loves to help wash Lolo in the tub

Cute silly boy

He loves to dance!

Running around the churchyard

For how scared he gets of everything, he is sure brave with animals.
Horses, chickens, & dogs!

I loooove this pic of him

He has discovered ranch & loves it

I love to watch him look at things & try to figure them out.
His face is so angelic in this picture.
One of my faves

Cheeeeese

He was so brave & accepted a candy cane from Santa.
No he didn't want to sit on his lap, but he did stand by him.
Biiiig step up from last year! ;)

He loves Christmas ornaments & lights.
He loves to look at all the houses lights too. We take many long drives home to appease him :)
It's cool though, because I like it too :)

He loved big sissy's dance recital (at least the first half. That's a long time to sit still!)

He loves to make music.
We made a drum out of an empty Quaker Oats container, we have a bottle filled with beans we shake for a maraca, we play the xylophone, shakes rattles, & now we have an awesome lil flute!

He loves to pretend cook & have you taste his creations

Bath finger paints :)

Still likes to read. I love this pic. SO sweet
