Life With LaRoses: Lola is 5 months

Lola is 5 months old!

She wears 6 or 6-9 month clothes, a size 2 diaper, & size 3 shoe.

She is feeling soooo much better these days & doesn't get gassy & sick as often. We aren't even having to give her gas drops as often.

Her 4 month check up has been postponed a few times, so that is Monday & I will update her statistics.

She can sleep anywhere from 6-9 hours ( not always, but she does pretty good). She definitely sleeps better for Dad, as did Tate, but that's okay. Mom still loves her ;) <3

She nurses good, but not for very long. Hence, she likes to eat every 2 1/2- 3 hrs. Yeah, I know, it sucks! When she takes a bottle she eats between 4 & 7 oz.

She has developed this funny evil sounding chuckle. Bobby says it's her mad scientist laugh.

She is constantly looking around at everything. She seems really smart. She is very aware.

She smiles & giggles a TON. Such a sweet & happy girl when she feels good.

She loves to get her feet.

She does tummy time good & doesn't scream about it like Tater did. She doesn't love it, but she'll do it for a few minutes.

She is getting a tad big for the cradle. Her room is a little chilly though for some reason, so we have to fix that, & also no screaming when she goes down. Her room is next to Liv's so she can't be a screaming Mimi.

She will get her head & hands stuck in the bumper when she is being a spaz about bedtime. It's pretty funny. I have a pic below. Sometimes she screams & sometimes she just laughs, but either way she doesn't want to go to bed!

She grabs at our faces all the time & loves when you put her hand to your mouth.

She also loves to grab my hair. I rarely wear it down anymore for that reason.

She loves to talk & squeal. Her squeal sounds just like Tater's. She will talk so sweetly sometimes too. I love it. She is so cute <3<3

She loooooves her hands. She is constantly chewing on them.

She plays in her big girl saucer/boouncer thing. She only likes it for a little while though.

She has the cutest chunky body ever. I love it!!!

I am a tough Mommy & I made her cry it out one night. My sister's kids are kind of like mine when it comes to sleep. They don't want to & freak out forever (as babies). None of this 15 minutes of fussing stuff like a lot of kids. She told me she made Cruze do it & he cried for an hour & a half & by 3 days he was better. So, that gave me the courage to try it one night. She screamed bloody murder for 1 1/2 hours & then crashed. The next 5 nights she fell asleep within 15 minutes!

So exciting!!!

But then, she had tummy issues & was up for 2 nights with a gassy tummy & didn't have the heart to make her cry. So she had snuggle time before bed those nights. Since then it's been a little tough to get her back in the swing of things, but she is still much improved. We did have a bad night the other night where she went down at 11pm & was up ready to rock until 2 am. At least she was laughing hysterically & being silly, not screaming. It was pretty funny, at least as funny as that can be at 2 am when you haven't slept much for a few days.

Oh Lola...Mommy sure loves you. You're a tough kid though my girl!

You are so beautiful, so sweet, so cool & happy when you feel good. I am so grateful to have you my sweet beautiful princess.
